Each week Disgraceland will host a different theme, with fresh DJs like Jason Barry and Zac Hennessey charting a new musical direction for Oxford Street.

Friday November 6th brings DJ Luke Fry in from the US to take over from resident DJ Jason Barry at 1:30am, spinning you through till the lights come on. His mix of fresh, funky and electro house will have you dancing till you feet fall off.

Fag Tag Young Guns

38 Oxford Street, Sydney, Australia
Sunday February 24th 2008, 10pm till 6am

Fag Tag Young Guns - This Sunday From 10pm at Oxford Art Factory
----------------------------------------------------------------

So you think you dance? Go on then, prove it to us this weekend.

We’re channeling the spirit of 30 years of Mardi Gras and pulling out all stops for a special edition of Fag Tag called Young Guns, kicking off this Sunday at 10pm.

It’s a one-off late night Fag Tag to celebrate the long nights and early mornings that make up the Mardi Gras season. We’ve been saving up the funkiest little nightclub space we’ve seen in years for this special occasion, the brand new Oxford Art Factory. It’s found at 38 Oxford Street, across the road from Slide, and we can’t wait to break it in real good come this Sunday.

As well as the previously announced talent of the Young Gun DJs Luke Fry (direct from San Fran), Mike Kelly (Cologne), Terry Vietheer and Jason Barry, we’ve just added the two fresh faces of singers Jeremy Brennan and Beatrix who will be weaving their magic on the night.

Pre-sale tickets are $29 + BF from SameSame.com.au and Hum Records. Fag Tag Young Guns starts at 10pm this Sunday, see you on the dancefloor.

Before Friday Funk

798 Brannan Stret @ 7th San Francisco
Thursday May 10th 2007, 9pm till 2am

The last BFF was a blast and we made a bunch for The STOP AIDS Project, so thanks to all who came and made the party the fun night that it was and helped raise some cash for a worthy cause.

May is here already and we have two more BFF's for this month. The first is next week on May 10th and will be the same great party in the same great space. I have been collecting a whole load of new tunes and will be pulling these out of the bag to test on you all, as well as spinning the usual funky house and huge classics that I normally play. If you've been before then you know what a fabulous party BFF is and how fantastic the staff at Mars Bar are. I received many compliments about the staff at BFF for the last party and I can assure you they are always that friendly and ready to serve the drinks.

If you haven't made it down to BFF yet then next week is your chance. I will soon be starting a BFF members card that will get you in for free regularly and it will be given to those of you that have given me you're support from early on, so now is your chance to get into my good books and onto the list of SF's newest gay event.

798 Brannan Stret @ 7th San Francisco
Thursday March 29th 2007, 9pm - 2am

Luke Fry & Plus44 Productions bring you a new venue for Thursday nights.

I have finally put my money where my mouth is and planned a new party in San Francisco. Taking advantage of daylight savings and the joy of spring the party will begin on March 29th, which is a Thursday, and will continue every other Thursday from then on. The bar is open in the evening as usual. Then beginning at 9pm I will be hosting 'Before Friday Funk' (BFF). At 10pm I will jump on the decks and start spinning my personal style of funky, uplifting house with some old school classics from the eighties and nineties slipped in and continue till late into the evening.

For the first two hours there are 2 for 1 drink specials and the entry is also a 2 for 1 deal, so bring your BFF and arrive early to get the best deals or just make a new BFF when you get there. Entry is $5 a person, but like I said it's 2 for 1 so bring a friend.

The second Before Friday Funk will be on April 12th and Dekuyer will be sponsoring the Happy Hour at Mars Bar and continuing the fun into BFF.

The third BFF coincides with dining out for life. Juanita More will be cooking up her fabulous fried chicken and raising money, as well hell, for charity. Again the party will continue into the night with myself and Derek B looking after the ear candy.

Please let your friends know that...
